Hey everyone, this case about Julio Aguilar has me digging into the unpredictable nature of crossing the Rio Bravo. I’ve been looking at stories of other crossings around that time, and it's shocking how often things go unreported or undocumented, especially when small groups attempt it on their own. It makes me wonder if there were others involved who just never came forward or if there was any communication between Julio's group and others before crossing. Given that it's been so many years, does anyone know if there’s been an outreach to communities on the other side of the border since he might have ended up there? It feels like there might be more pieces there that haven’t been explored. Any thoughts or insights might help bring Julio back into focus for those still looking.
