I was reading about Hilary Page Crutchfield Green, and one thing that stood out to me was the amazing support system he seemed to have. It's obvious that Hilary was surrounded by people who genuinely cared about him, from his family in Massachusetts and beyond to his son Sidney and Sidney's mother, Jazmin. It makes me think about how these support networks play such a massive role when tragedy strikes. Despite not having all the details about what happened, I can only imagine the strength that his close-knit family has drawn from each other during this incredibly difficult time. It's a testament to Hilary's impact that so many people gathered at Twelfth Baptist Church to celebrate his life. Losing a loved one is something none of us are ever truly prepared for, but having family and friends around can make the darkest times just a little more bearable. My thoughts are with his family, especially his son Sidney, as they continue to navigate life without him.
