It's been almost nine years since Omar Ortiz-Lopez was tragically taken from us in that senseless act of violence in Lynn. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his loved ones have been enduring all these years, hoping for some form of justice. I read that Hector Diaz Emiliano was finally caught and brought back to Massachusetts from Puerto Rico—such a huge sigh of relief for the community, but I'm sure it's a mix of emotions for Omar’s family. It’s frustrating how someone can manage to evade capture for so long. I had no idea so much coordination was needed between different law enforcement agencies to pull it off. Hats off to them for working together and not giving up on this case. Here's hoping the legal process brings some peace to everyone affected. Remembering Omar and sending strength to his family as they continue down this long road. ?
