I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the Lawrence community and, especially, on Joselo's loved ones. I didn't know Joselo personally, but from everything I've read and heard, he was an incredibly kind and vibrant young man with a bright future ahead of him. It's incredibly frustrating to imagine the pain his family is feeling, knowing that the person responsible is still out there. The fact that Yssael Lantigua Alecon is still at large is beyond troubling. It makes me anxious just thinking about it and wondering if someone in the community might have information that could help close this case. It's situations like these that remind us of the importance of coming together and sharing any details, no matter how small they might seem. You just never know what might help law enforcement finally bring some closure to those suffering the most from this loss. To Joselo's friends and family, I hope you find strength and support from the community during this really tough time.
