Did anyone else follow the detail about the trajectory of the bullet that was key in the case against Brian Fanion? I’ve been thinking about how crucial this was in challenging his story of Amy's tragic death being a suicide. It’s chilling to consider how the angle and position of a shot can tell a story that words might try to hide. The trajectory angle, along with the lack of gunshot residue, really seemed to corner him, as it painted a different picture than what he initially described. It must have taken a huge emotional toll on Amy's family to hear these technical details about her final moments during the trial, but it also brought some clarity amidst the chaos. As hard as it is to relive those moments, the forensic evidence played such a critical role in revealing the truth behind this devastating incident. My thoughts are with Amy’s family, who had to endure the trial on top of such a profound personal loss.
