Does anyone else find it haunting how these road rage encounters can escalate so quickly into life-altering events? I can't stop thinking about Reynaldo Pena and his family. It’s chilling to realize how a moment of anger on the road can lead to irreversible heartbreak. The fact that Alexis Silva managed to evade capture for months must have been terrifying for Rey's friends and family, not knowing if justice would be served. I'm hoping that with Silva’s conviction, they feel some semblance of peace, though it's clear nothing could ever replace their loss. What can we do as a society to prevent something like this from happening again? The ripple effects of such violence are enormous, and I wish more people would understand how a split-second decision can impact countless lives. My thoughts are with everyone who loved Rey, hoping they find strength during these difficult times.
