Hey everyone, I’ve been following Godfrey Jenkins' case since it first made the news back in 2019, but I’m still baffled by how little information has surfaced over the years. It's really unsettling to think that Godfrey’s family and friends are still waiting for answers without any clear indication of progress in the investigation. Even with a number of years having passed, it seems like this case has just hit a wall, and I can only imagine how difficult that must be for those who cared about him. Does anyone have any insights or updates about community efforts around Roxbury to keep Godfrey's case alive? I read somewhere that sometimes local groups organize vigils or awareness campaigns to push for renewed attention on unsolved cases, and I’m wondering if anything like that has been done lately. We need to keep the conversation going, not just for Godfrey but for all victims of unsolved crimes. Would love to hear if anyone’s come across anything or has connections to local advocacy groups. Keeping hope alive for some kind of breakthrough. Stay safe, everyone. —Mark42

Has anyone else been following the case of Godfrey Jenkins? I can't stop thinking about how frustrating it must be for his family and friends, not having any answers or justice after so long. It's been years since that terrible day on Crawford Street, yet there seems to be nothing moving forward. I was reading some articles and saw that the Boston PD hasn’t released many details, and it just makes me wonder if there are leads they can't discuss publicly or if the investigation has stalled. Is anyone from the Roxbury area who might have insight into how the community is dealing with this? I know there were 38 murders that year, but each case is unique and deserves closure. Sending all my thoughts to Godfrey's loved ones. They deserve answers. If anyone hears updates or has background info they can share, please let us know. We have to keep talking about these cases—every bit of exposure helps.
