Hey everyone, I've been following the discussions on the tragic murder of Curtis Ashford Jr., and one detail that's been staying on my mind is the role of surveillance footage in identifying suspects. It's unsettling yet fascinating how much these recordings can uncover. From what I've read, it seems that footage played a crucial role in initially charging Dominick Gavin and subsequently in the case against Mack. It makes you think about how much of our daily lives are actually captured on camera. At the same time, I can’t help but think about Curtis's family and how they’ve been impacted by this. The idea that someone could be caught on camera in the act of taking a life is chilling. I hope the footage provided some clarity and justice for Curtis's mother, even though nothing can bring back her "baby boy." My heart goes out to Curtis's loved ones. I can't imagine the pain they're going through, especially knowing this all unfolded in a place Curtis probably felt safe, doing something as innocent as playing basketball. It's important for us as a community to reflect on security measures and how they can be improved to protect everyone, especially our youth. Would love to hear your thoughts. Take care, everyone.
