Hey everyone,
I've been following the cold case of John Warner Nolen and can't help but feel something significant is missing in the investigation process. I was reading about the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office launching a webpage dedicated to unsolved cases, including Nolen's. It's pretty impressive how they're leveraging technology and public assistance for cases dating back as far as this. I wonder if this renewed effort could finally bring some closure for Nolen's family after all these years.
It's tough to imagine what his loved ones have gone through, and I truly hope this initiative yields something valuable. It's easy to feel like older cases won’t get the attention they deserve, but seeing law enforcement maintain this focus gives me a bit of hope. Do you guys think these types of initiatives can realistically pave the way for a breakthrough, especially with cases this cold? Has anyone heard anything more about new technological developments that might be brought to bear here? Let's keep talking and maybe help in any small way we can.
Stay safe out there!
Hey everyone,
I've been diving deep into the unsolved case of John Warner Nolen, and something that's been nagging at me is the discovery location itself. Finding Nolen's body in the Columbia River near Kelley Point has me wondering if there might be any significance to that spot. It's a pretty strategic location where the Willamette and Columbia rivers meet, and I can’t help but think about whether someone deliberately chose it to obscure any traces or evidence.
Given the heavy traffic on the river, both commercial and recreational, it's surprising that no one reported anything unusual around that time. Were there no boats or anglers who might have seen something strange or suspicious? Also, the geography of the area could have played a role in either where the body ended up, or possibly where this crime occurred.
It's so frustrating to think that after all these years, there's still no definitive path forward. My heart goes out to John and his loved ones, who deserve some sort of closure. I truly hope someone out there has a piece of information that could shed light on what happened and help give Nolen the justice he so rightfully deserves. If you know anything, please do reach out to the authorities. Even the smallest detail could be the breakthrough needed.
Stay safe, everyone.
