I was truly shocked to hear about the tragic end of George Bundy Wasson’s life. He was such a beacon in the community, especially with his work in preserving Native American culture. I’ve been thinking about how he must have touched so many lives through his education and storytelling. It's heartbreaking to know that someone with such a passion for sharing his knowledge and heritage was taken in such a violent manner. My heart goes out to his family and all who knew him. His legacy with the Native American Student Union and beyond will certainly live on, but it's so sad that he won’t be able to witness the continued impact he’s made. I hope his contributions continue to inspire future generations to cherish and sustain their own cultural histories. How are the local communities reacting to his loss?
