Hey everyone, I've been reading up on the tragic case of Tere David King and wanted to share some thoughts I've been having. It's really devastating to consider how the early hours of April 28, 2014, marked such a turning point for Tere's family and the community of Athena, Oregon. What piques my interest is the ongoing debate surrounding officer-involved shootings. It seems like every case has its own set of complex layers, but there appears to be so little information on Tere's situation. How are communities supposed to heal and make sense of things without a clear picture of what happened? I really hope the investigation was transparent and thorough, offering some clarity to Tere's loved ones, although it seems we haven't gotten many updates in the public domain. It must be incredibly tough for those who knew him to go on without concrete answers. It’s important that these cases are handled with the utmost scrutiny and sensitivity, because behind all the procedural and legal steps, there are real people affected. Sending thoughts to Tere’s family—we haven’t forgotten about him. - ConcernedCitizen56
