I've been following the case of Tyler Matthew Balais, and one aspect that really stands out to me is the role of the Major Crime Team in this investigation. It’s telling that they were brought in, which emphasizes how complicated and severe the case must be. My thoughts are with Tyler's family; it’s hard to imagine what they’re going through. I’m curious about the protocols that trigger the involvement of such a team. Does anyone know if this is typical for cases like this? It just makes me wonder what layers are being uncovered here, especially given the seriousness of the charge against his girlfriend. This case seems to be a stark reminder of how things can go wrong within intimate relationships, and it's so sad that it ended in tragedy for someone so young.
