Has anyone else been following the case of Ishaq Saleem's tragic death in Salem? I was reading about how the Salem Police Department disbanded their gang enforcement team just a month before the incident. This decision seems quite controversial now, given the rise in gang activity that followed. I can't help but wonder how different things might have been if the gang unit was still in place. It's terrifying to think that the dismantling could have inadvertently led to more violence, leaving teenagers like Ishaq vulnerable. Wishing comfort and peace to Ishaq's family and friends during such a turbulent time. They truly deserve answers and justice for him.
