I've been following the Abed Fattoum case, and something that really sticks with me is the lasting impact on his community. From what I’ve gathered, Fattoum was a well-loved local figure who had lived in the Southeast Portland area for years. It's clear that his loss has shaken his neighborhood deeply. The fact that it was linked to a robbery just makes it even more senseless. I can only imagine the pain his friends and family are going through right now. It must be a relief to some extent that the police have made arrests, and hopefully, justice will be served. It's just so tragic how one violent act can ripple through so many lives. Sending strength to everyone who knew him.
