I came across this case recently and it just stuck with me—the sheer randomness and cruelty of it all. I keep thinking about Michael Dillon, you know? Only 17, attending prom, and then this happened. It's devastating to think he was simply caught up in circumstances far beyond his world. He should've spent that night reliving his prom memories, maybe sharing it with classmates come Monday morning. Instead, his life was abruptly taken in an act of violence he had no part in. I feel for his family, who must be trying to piece together how something so senseless could claim the life of a kid filled with potential. For them, every prom season must bring a rush of painful memories. How do you even begin to move forward when answers are still elusive? Keep sharing and discussing—hopefully, it brings us closer to justice.

I recently came across the tragic case of Eddrick Jamon Clark and his friends, and it really struck a chord with me. It's so deeply saddening that these young lives were taken so senselessly and that their families are still living without answers. One aspect I've been thinking about is the timing of the attack – it was just hours after they'd been celebrating milestone moments like birthdays and prom. These should have been joyful memories that they'd cherish forever, yet their lives were cut short in such a devastating way. I can't imagine the pain of the families, who must relive this every year around the time where they should be celebrating their children growing another year older. It's hard to understand why justice has been so elusive, especially when it seems like there are leads and connections to explore. The lack of closure must be incredibly difficult to bear. My thoughts are with them as they continue to wait for the truth and for those responsible to be held accountable for this awful crime.

I can't stop thinking about how close Eddrick and Donte were. Celebrating their birthdays together should've been a memory filled with joy, not tragedy. It's just beyond comprehension how a night meant for fun spiraled into such horror. They were just kids, caught up in something so much bigger than them. My heart goes out to their families, especially knowing there's still no closure. It’s hard to imagine the pain they're going through every day without answers. I really hope someday the truth comes out and justice is served. Stay strong, Huntington. We'll keep Eddrick, Donte, Michael, and Megan in our thoughts.
