I was thinking about Christopher Lee Kelley today and how disturbing it is that his case remains unresolved. How does one move forward when there are more questions than answers? I can't imagine the pain his loved ones must feel, living each day with uncertainty. Christopher sounded like such a bright young man, full of compassion and energy. His involvement with the church and community speaks volumes about his character. Wearing his favorite color, purple, at his service was a beautiful way to honor the joy he brought into people's lives, but it's a tragedy that the people who knew him are still waiting for justice. I hope the Raleigh County Sheriff's Office hasn't given up. Cases like this, where the pieces don't seem to fit, need relentless attention. Maybe someone reading this has a piece of information they think is insignificant but could actually help solve the case. Let's not let time fade the memory of what happened that day. Christopher deserves that much from us all.
