This detail is so haunting because it suggests he might have been trying to leave or turn away when he was shot. It's such a small piece of information, but it paints a vivid picture of the chaos and fear in those moments. I hope that as the trial wraps up, the families of Jack, Travis, and William can find some solace and closure, though I can't imagine the pain they must feel. For Jack's family and friends, I hope they remember him for his life and not just this tragedy.
