I’ve been following the Ahmid Hinton case closely and something that really stands out to me is the community's response. It seems like there’s a tense but determined atmosphere in Wheeling. I’ve seen several community members organizing neighborhood watch groups and calling for increased police patrols in the Wheeling Island area. It’s touching to see folks coming together, but it also highlights how deeply unsettling this crime has been for those living nearby. You can sense a mix of fear and resilience among residents. People are understandably worried, but there’s also a strong desire to support Hinton’s family and not let this tragedy define their neighborhood. If anyone has insights or updates on how the community is coping, I’d love to hear more. It’s important we keep the conversation going, both to support each other and to keep pressure on solving this case.
