Has anyone else stumbled across information about the backgrounds of the victims in the July 8, 2019 incident in Martinsburg, particularly Cierra Hammons? It's always so striking to me how these senseless acts of violence rip away individuals who are loved and cherished in their communities. From what I gather, Cierra was from Inwood and originally born in Winchester, VA. It makes me wonder about her life, her family, her dreams that were all tragically cut short. With cases like these, I find it really important to remember not just the gruesome details but the people whose lives were abruptly ended. My heart genuinely goes out to Cierra’s loved ones and everyone else affected by this tragedy. If anyone has more personal insights or stories about her, I think sharing those could really shine a light on who she was beyond this terrible event.
