Hey everyone, I've been following David Ruiz's case closely, and something keeps bothering me about that phone call he made on October 1, 2018. In these kinds of situations, disorientation can be due to so many things—stress, fatigue, or even something more concerning like a medical condition. I know it was mentioned he was unhoused, but do we have any more details about how he was doing health-wise before going missing? It's just odd to me that he specifically asked for his birth certificate and money, but then didn’t show up to collect them. Makes me wonder if someone might have been influencing him or if he genuinely was planning to leave somewhere but never got the chance. Anyone have thoughts on this or maybe similar cases where something like this has happened?
Has anyone else been following the David Ruiz case? I just came across it, and something really stands out to me. During that last phone call with his family, he not only seemed disoriented but also mentioned needing his birth certificate. I wonder why he specifically asked for that document. Could he have been trying to apply for some form of assistance or identification? For those familiar with similar situations, do birth certificates play a significant role for someone in David’s circumstances? I'm also curious if anyone has thoughts on why the case took a year to officially be reported. Hoping for some insight here!
