Has anyone else been thinking about how isolated Oreanna must have felt before committing this terrible act? It seems like there were so many things stacking up against her—mental health struggles, her husband being away, and not having reliable transportation. It's just so upsetting to think that maybe she felt there was no one to reach out to or no way out of the situation she was in. I’ve seen how mental health can take an incredibly dark turn if someone feels completely alone and overwhelmed. I truly cannot imagine the pain and confusion her family and the community must be experiencing. Those poor babies—Kian, Shaun, Riley, Arikyle, and Haiken deserved a joyful life full of love and adventures. I hope from all this sadness we see more awareness about mental health and making sure support is readily available. For anyone out there feeling like it's too much to handle on your own, please reach out and talk to someone. There’s always hope, even when it feels like all is lost.
