I've been following the horrific case of the Duncan family murders, and what really haunts me is the role of Angela Johnson. It's chilling to think about her pretending to be a lost saleswoman to gain access to the house. Knowing she had already planned this horrible act and deceived her way inside—I just can't fathom that level of manipulation and coldness. It’s terrifying to imagine the trust that Lori and her daughters might have placed in her, only to be betrayed in such a heinous way.
I've been reading about the psychological profiles of accomplices in murder cases, and Angela's involvement seems to illustrate how someone can be led—or willingly go down—a path of destruction alongside a manipulative partner like Honken. While there's relief knowing justice was served, it's so painful to think about how Lori, her daughters, and Greg must have felt in those final moments. Such devastation for their friends and family to endure. I hope they found some measure of peace when the trials concluded, but I can't help but think of the long shadow it casts over their lives. Anyone else have insights on Johnson's psychological state or similar cases?
