Steven Paul McEwen, 30, was last seen on or about August 26, 2019, in McDonald, Pennsylvania. Known to some as Polar Bear, he had shoulder-length red hair, a red beard, blue eyes, freckles, a Serenity Prayer tattoo on his left forearm and a yellow banana tattoo below his right knee. Recently homeless after losing his job, he had been living in a tent in the woods. Reports say he was picked up in West Virginia, dropped off at an address in McDonald, and later made a phone call with comments interpreted as suicidal. No contact has been made since; the McDonald Borough Police continue to investigate.
