I've been really digging into this case about Montreail Dungy, and something that keeps sticking out to me is the delay in calling 911. It baffles me that it took almost 25 minutes for someone to realize what had happened and contact the authorities. I know it's easy to say what should've been done after the fact, but I can't help but wonder if a quicker response might have helped either with the investigation or even with providing some sort of closure sooner for Montreail's family. I'm also really feeling for his family during what must be such an incredibly confusing time. Having to sit through a trial with this kind of evidence and arguments being thrown around has to be so painful. Losing someone is terrible enough without the added burden of not knowing exactly what happened and why. My thoughts are with Montreail's family and everyone impacted by this senseless violence.
