I’ve been thinking a lot about the young passenger who was injured in this case. It’s just awful to consider that a 17-year-old got caught up in such a horrible situation and had to endure such trauma. The physical injuries might heal, but I can’t even begin to imagine the emotional scars. Young people should be thinking about school, sports, or hanging out with friends, not dealing with the aftermath of gun violence. I really hope that he gets the support and care he needs to get through this tough time, both physically and mentally. It’s so tragic how this incident not only took Cisco’s life but affected so many others who were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s a stark reminder of the ripple effect that violence can have on everyone involved. My thoughts are definitely with Cisco’s loved ones and everyone else impacted by this senseless act.
