I’ve been following Emily and Gabriel’s case since it first came to light, and I still can’t shake this feeling of disbelief about Christopher Poulson’s actions. The fact that he could have possibly gotten away with it if it hadn’t been for modern technology like cellphone data is pretty chilling. It just makes you wonder how many cases out there could be solved with the right digital evidence and re-examination. Also, thinking about the courage it took for Emily's family to push for answers for two whole years is both inspiring and deeply saddening. They fought for justice with unimaginable strength. My heart truly goes out to them as they continue to heal from this unimaginable tragedy.
Was anyone else absolutely shocked and horrified when they heard the details of how Emily was murdered? I just can’t wrap my head around the level of betrayal from someone she had once been so close to. I feel deeply for Emily's family and particularly for Gabriel, who never got to grow up and discover the world around him. It’s a chilling reminder of how things can spiral out of control. I hope Emily's loved ones find some peace knowing that Poulson is behind bars, but I can’t imagine the pain they’ve gone through. It's tragic how someone so talented and devoted to her little boy had her life cut short in such a horrific way. How do we as a community prevent something like this from happening again? What steps can be taken to ensure better support for those who may be in dangerous situations?
