I can't stop thinking about the impact Heriberto's death has had on the Hartford community. It's just so deeply frustrating and saddening that nothing seems to have progressed in terms of justice. I was reading through some of the tributes online, and you can really feel the love everyone had for him. It's especially touching to see his siblings and girlfriend, Tashae, trying to keep his memory alive, even as they grapple with their own pain. It must be so incredibly tough for his family to gather every moment of strength and keep fighting for answers when the system seems to be at a standstill. Does anyone have any ideas on community-based initiatives or strategies that could help keep this case in the public eye? Maybe if we work together, we can keep pushing for justice for Pote and his family.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Heriberto “Pote” Carrasquillo's case for a while now, and it’s just so frustrating to see that there haven’t been any updates. It’s baffling that after all these years, there’s still nothing concrete about who could be responsible for this. It makes me think about how tough it must be for Heriberto’s family and friends to keep pushing for answers with zero movement.
His story leaves me thinking about the broader issue of gun violence in Hartford. I’ve read a few things online where local residents talk about feeling unsafe or forgotten. It's really sad because it sounds like a lot of good kids, like Heriberto, don't get the chance to reach their potential. I wonder if there's been any community efforts or programs in Hartford to address this violence since his passing? Maybe his loved ones have found some support in these community efforts? If anyone has heard anything or can share more about what's happening locally, it’d be appreciated.
Thinking of those still missing Heriberto and hoping they someday find peace and justice.
Stay safe, everyone.
