I've been following the case of Garnett Henry and the tragic shooting on Edgewood Street, and something that stands out to me is the impact of the community response. Rev. Henry Brown and other activists have been vocal about the growing violence in Hartford, and it’s encouraging to see people trying to make a difference in such difficult times. It’s incredibly saddening that Garnett's family and friends have to deal with their loss while also confronting the reality of unsolved crimes in their neighborhood. The fact that this is one of multiple homicides in the area this year alone is deeply troubling. As a community, we must come together to support one another and push for change. It's vital that those who might know something step forward to help the police solve this case. No family should endure the pain of not having justice for a loved one. My thoughts are with Garnett's family and Knorskov Senior as he recovers. I hope there will be a breakthrough soon, and that we can bring some peace to everyone affected by this tragedy.
