It's really frustrating and unbelievably sad to hear about Daryl's case still being unsolved after all this time. I can't even imagine what his family must be going through, not having answers or closure. I keep thinking about the lack of witnesses coming forward. It's so important to break that wall of silence in situations like this. Fear can be such a powerful deterrent in these communities, but it's the people who suffer the most who need protection the most. If anyone knows anything, even the smallest detail could be so crucial to the investigation and to giving peace to Daryl's loved ones. Every time I hear about a case like this, it makes me wish more people could find the courage to speak up. I hope that someone in the community finds a way to step forward soon. The New Haven community deserves to feel safe and have trust in each other.

Has anyone else been following the Daryl Wayne Belton case? It's really troubling to think about the lack of cooperation from eyewitnesses. I feel for his family, knowing we're closing in on 7 years with no closure must be incredibly painful. The fact that no one has come forward is baffling. Was it fear of retaliation? Or perhaps something else? I can understand the fear people might feel, but at the end of the day, staying silent only lets violence like this continue unchecked. Whatever reasons there may be, I just hope that someone finds the courage to share what they know. Without people stepping up, these cases just linger, and families are left without any answers. It's a real reminder of how crucial community support is in solving crimes like this.
