I can't stop thinking about how tragic this whole situation is, especially for Daniel Caron’s family. It's hard to grapple with how someone that's known to both Daniel and his family could be involved in something so devastating. Friends and family describe Daniel as such a warm and generous man. I saw his daughter mention how close her dad and Chad were... It makes me wonder what really happened between them that day on Woodland Street. Was it truly an accident as Chad claimed? It's just awful knowing that substance abuse played a part in all of this. People need to make choices more wisely, especially when it comes to mixing alcohol and firearms. My heart goes out to Nicole and everyone affected. They have lost a truly remarkable man far too soon.

Does anyone else find it troubling that Couture had six registered firearms despite his criminal history and revoked permit? It seems like a massive oversight in the system. The fact that he was able to hold onto these weapons, given his past DUIs and threatening behavior, is deeply concerning. My heart goes out to Daniel Caron and his family, who are left to grapple with this terrible loss. How could something like this slip through the cracks? It's hard to imagine the pain Nicole Caron is going through, knowing that someone her father once trusted was capable of such a tragic mistake. What's everyone's take on how this could have been prevented?
