Hey all,
I've been digging through the details of Oscar Shell's disappearance, and something really caught my attention about his walking stick or cane. I know it's a small thing, but does anyone else think it might be significant? Given his height and the fact he needed it for support, I'm wondering if anyone has seen a similar stick discarded or found somewhere strange near Canal Street or Highway 60. Items like this can sometimes lead to clues overlooked during searches. Has anyone in Mulberry noticed anything like this over the past few years? Could it have been left or lost somewhere that might indicate which direction he went? Just throwing it out there in case it helps connect the dots for someone.
I was just thinking about Oscar "Art" Shell's case again and realized something odd. Has anyone else noticed how there haven't been many reports or witness statements about the time he spent at the gas station on Highway 60 before he disappeared? It's a pretty busy area, and you'd assume somebody must have seen him or remembered a detail. Were there any cameras at the gas station that day? I feel like footage could have given us some much-needed insight. Maybe some folks who were there around that time might jog their memory if we dig deeper into the specifics of his visit. Every little detail could help!
Does anyone from the Mulberry area remember seeing Oscar Shell around Canal Street and 9th Avenue NW before he went missing? It's said that he was a familiar face in the community, but I'm curious if anyone recalls having any interactions with him on that particular day. Sometimes the smallest details can make a huge difference in a case like this. Maybe someone saw him chatting with someone or noticed him stumbling or having trouble. It’s really frustrating how cases can remain cold despite so much effort from family and law enforcement. I hope folks nearby keep this case in mind and think back to October 2020—it feels like there's got to be more to uncover. Every bit helps!
