Hey everyone, just stumbled upon something interesting about Detective Sgt. Samuel Neal McDermott's case. Has anyone else looked into the security measures at the Pulaski County Jail back in 1930? From what I've read, it seems like there were quite a few escapees that day when Sgt. McDermott was tragically injured. I wonder if there were any changes in procedures or infrastructure following this incident. It’s shocking to think that such a brave officer paid the ultimate price under those circumstances. It must have been incredibly tough for his family and colleagues to deal with such a loss. If anyone has more info or insights about the jail conditions back then or how they evolved, I'd love to hear more. Stay safe out there, everyone.
