I’ve been looking into the details surrounding William "Bill" Stumpp's murder, and something that really got me thinking is the choice of weapon. A .22 caliber pistol was used for the crime, which seems a bit unusual for such a brutal and calculated act. From what I've read, .22s are sometimes considered less 'effective' for quick kills compared to larger calibers. It’s unsettling to think that Snell deliberately chose such a weapon, possibly indicating he was comfortable enough to ensure multiple shots would finish the job. What a terrifying thought for anyone in that situation. Clearly, this heinous act was committed with a lot of hate, based on his misguided beliefs. I also keep thinking about Bill's family and loved ones and how they must have felt hearing about the details. No one should have to grapple with losing someone in such a violent way. Just hoping that time has brought some peace to those who knew and cared for Bill.
