I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must have had on Kor'Darius "Doodle" Walker's family. To lose someone so young and in such a violent way is unimaginable. My heart goes out to them, especially having to deal with the media storm and the ongoing investigation. One thing that really stands out to me is the decision to release Adrian Lay on a plea agreement right before all of this unfolded. It's scary to think about how a single decision can have such far-reaching consequences. I understand the system has its reasons, but it's hard not to wonder if things might have turned out differently if Lay hadn't been allowed that time before reporting back to jail. It’s just a really tough situation all around. I'm hoping for peace and justice for both Walker's family and Lay’s stepfather Roosevelt Willis. No family should have to endure this kind of pain.
