It's so hard to comprehend the pain and injustice that Jason Adams' family must be feeling right now. I've been following this case since it happened, and it gets to me every time I think about it. The fact that he was shot while trying to help someone in need is just unthinkable. It's like, he dedicated his life to saving others, and that dedication cost him everything. I recently read about the parole hearing and can't imagine what it must have been like for the family to have to relive the trauma all over again. I support them wholeheartedly in their efforts to keep Mark Pruitt incarcerated for as long as possible. No family should have to suffer that kind of loss and then see the person responsible walk free so soon. I have so much respect for first responders like Jason. They put their lives on the line every day, and this just highlights the risks they face. My heart goes out to his family and colleagues. We must never forget the heroism he showed and continuously support those who run towards danger while the rest of us run away.
