On January 22, 2016, 29-year-old Jason Adams, a volunteer firefighter with the East Pulaski Volunteer Fire Department and a lieutenant with the Sherwood Fire Department, tragically lost his life while responding to a medical emergency in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Adams was among the first responders to a 911 call reporting a person experiencing a seizure at a residence on Dortch Loop.
