It's so shocking to think about how Malcolm Jemison and others were just in a place that should have been safe and ended up in such a terrifying situation. I've been thinking about how traumatic it must be for the survivors—Quenterius, Cedric, and Chauncey. They not only went through the physical pain but are likely dealing with immense emotional scars as well. I genuinely hope they have access to the support systems they need and deserve. It's appalling that such violence can invade the sanctity of one's home. Sending tons of strength to Malcolm’s family and the other victims as they navigate through this tragedy. It's a stark reminder that we have so much work to do to make our communities safer.
