I was thinking about that detail with the ShotSpotter technology, especially considering how it came into play during Wiley Lamont Carr’s tragic murder. It’s strange that even with something that immediately pinpoints gunfire, there wasn't a single 911 call from the neighborhood. That just baffles me. It's incredibly disheartening to think that in a community, shots could ring out, and no one steps up to alert authorities, even when technology already has. Was it fear, or maybe people assume someone else already made a call? I really hope those around the area realize how crucial their input could be. This man's family deserves answers, and it feels like someone out there has a piece of the puzzle that could help bring closure to them. It’s essential for communities to come together in times like this, even when it’s uncomfortable. Anyone else think there could’ve been more done around then or any fresh perspectives on why not a soul made a call?
