I was recently reading up on Cedric Dewayne Sloan's tragic case, and I can't help but to try to piece together any clues about what happened that fateful night. It's so upsetting to see an active and positive member of the community, someone who was committed to bettering those around him, lost in such senseless violence.
One angle I've been curious about is the location of the incident. I wonder if anyone knows more about the 7300 block of Rosswood Colony? Was this a place Cedric frequented, or was he just in the wrong place at the wrong time? I think understanding the environment might help us piece together his last moments and any potential motives someone might have had.
It's hard not to think about his children and how much they've lost. I really hope they find some comfort in the support from those who cared about their dad. If anyone else has more insight or information, please do share. We all want justice for Cedric.
Attending Cedric Sloan's funeral service really hit me hard. Seeing the turnout at Highland Missionary Baptist Church was a true testament to how many lives Cedric touched in Pine Bluff. It's clear he was genuinely loved by this community. I remember him always lighting up the room at church gatherings with that infectious smile and his incredible voice in the choir. It’s tragic that his kids, Calah, Caidyn, and Jaylan, have to navigate life without him. My heart goes out to them and the entire family. It's a painful reminder to cherish those around us and to remember the kind souls like Cedric who made our community richer. Has anyone heard more about the arrest of Kevin Kimble and how that's progressing? Let's keep Cedric's family in our thoughts and hope for justice.
