Has anyone else been following the ongoing trial for this case? I’m still in shock that something like this happened right on a college campus. It’s deeply disturbing to think about the fear and chaos that must have surrounded the students attending SAU during that time. I can't imagine what Joshua’s family and friends have gone through. Starting a new semester should have been an exciting time and instead, they're left mourning such a senseless loss. The fact that one of the people arrested was on the football team is even more mind-boggling. I was wondering, does anyone know if the university has implemented any additional safety measures since then or have any students spoken out about feeling safer on campus now? It’s so important that we learn from tragedies like these to try and prevent them in the future. Sending love to everyone affected by this awful event.

Hello everyone, I've been following this tragic case for a while now and my heart goes out to Joshua's family and friends. I wanted to touch on the use of social media platforms like Snapchat in arranging these dangerous meetings. It's unsettling to think how a simple app that many of us use daily played a part in this senseless loss. Such platforms make it so easy to connect with people, but it's a stark reminder of the potential dangers lurking in these virtual connections. As a college student myself, it really hits home how accessible these kinds of arrangements can be and how quickly things can escalate. I can't help but think about how this tragedy occurred just before the new semester, a time that should have been filled with promise for Joshua and his peers. I'm curious about the measures universities could implement to deter such activities on campuses. Maybe stricter surveillance or educational programs on the risks involved could make a difference? It's heartbreaking to think of the families torn apart by this. Stay safe, everyone.
