It's truly devastating to think about how senseless violence can create such profound loss in a split second. Ashley was just walking to a family member's house, something so normal, and ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. I’ve been pondering over how the community can come together to ensure safer neighborhoods. It’s painful to think of Jamya growing up without her mom, especially at such a young age. We all need to rally and support the Bell family during these times. Ensuring justice is served can maybe bring a little peace, and hopefully deter future senseless acts. Has anyone heard about community groups coming back together to organize peace marches or vigils in Ashley’s honor? If not, it might be time for us locals to step in and keep her memory alive through action. It could be a start...

Hey everyone, I just can't stop thinking about how senseless Ashley's death was and how it has impacted her daughter, Jamya. It’s beyond terrifying to imagine losing a parent at such a young age. From everything I’ve read, Ashley was an incredible mom who wanted the best for her little girl. I hope the community can rally around Jamya to provide her with love and support during such a confusing and painful time. ?
