Hi everyone, I’ve been diving deep into the details of the events surrounding the tragic murders of Officers Beckstead and Keeton, and something that really struck me is the bravery Officer Beckstead showed in his final moments. Despite being critically injured, he managed to radio for assistance. This act of courage may have saved others from Greenberg’s rampage. It’s just incredibly sad that his family had to lose him in such a violent way. I can’t imagine the pain his wife, Betty, and their sons must have felt—they truly are in my thoughts. It’s a stark reminder of the sacrifices officers make every day. Does anyone know more about how Betty and her sons coped in the aftermath of this tragedy? I hope they were able to find some semblance of peace over the years.
