Hi everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the first person affected in this tragic spree, Linda Kay Clatone. It's truly unsettling that you could be going about your daily life one moment, and the next, you're caught up in something so horrific just because of a connection to someone else. I can't imagine the fear and confusion she must have felt being targeted like that, especially when it's tied to someone else's troubled past. Linda was the starting point of this senseless rampage, and it's a stark reminder of how innocence and normality can be shattered in an instant. I really hope she’s getting the support and love she needs after enduring such trauma. The ripple effect on friends and family must be profound, and they all deserve our thoughts and empathy during what must be an incredibly tough time. Any thoughts on how communities can better support victims of such shocking events? Stay safe, everyone.

I've been thinking a lot about the Finneys and how they ended up getting tangled in such a terrifying incident. It's bewildering how two kind souls who seemed to just be in the wrong place at the wrong time could be caught up in this. I read that they were friends with Sigurdson, but it's still surreal to grasp the extent of Dyess's anger spilling over like that. My heart goes out to the Finney family and everyone impacted by this loss. The community in Wellton must have been shaken to its core. Looking back, it’s so important to recognize the signs of someone spiraling like Dyess did, though hindsight always feels too late. Rest in peace to all those innocent lives lost.
