I’ve been following the tragic case of Jordan Isaiah Ashe, and I just can't shake the feeling of sorrow for his family. I came across an interview with LaRhan Wilkinson, the owner of the Palms Lounge and Grill, where Ashe worked as a security guard. Listening to Wilkinson talk about the kind of person Jordan was brought tears to my eyes. Around the community, Ashe was known for being gentle but firm—someone who kept the peace with a steady hand and a kind heart. What struck me the most was how he was off-duty that night, yet stepped up to diffuse a situation that unfortunately turned fatal. It speaks volumes about his character and dedication. I can’t imagine the pain his family and friends are enduring, especially knowing he was simply trying to help. If anyone has links to more information or tributes for Jordan, please share. I think it’s important we remember who he was beyond the headlines. My thoughts are with his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
