Has anyone heard more about the charges against Christopher Lee Thomas? It's shocking news for such a tight-knit community like Broken Bow. I can't imagine the grief Mr. Elkins' family is going through right now. It feels like these kinds of tragedies are becoming all too common. The thought that something like this happened in a place most of us consider safe is unsettling. I hope the OSBI can piece together what led to this tragedy. It's always tough waiting for updates, wondering about the motive and just how things came to this point. My thoughts are with all who knew John Elkins — hoping justice is served and that peace finds those affected.
