I was reading about the tragic incident on Blue Hills Road, and my thoughts are with Deontae's and Cierra's families during this incredibly difficult time. It's distressing to hear about yet another incident of violence in what should be a safe community. I’ve lived in areas where constant police activity becomes the norm, and it takes a significant toll on everyone's peace of mind. It's concerning that Charter Landing has been the site of numerous police calls—49 this year alone is an astonishing number. Does anyone know if there’s been a community meeting or any neighborhood initiative to address these ongoing issues? It seems more proactive measures are needed to ensure safety and prevent future tragedies. I hope the police can find those responsible quickly and that the community can start to heal. Please, if anyone knows something, reach out to the authorities. Every bit of information could be crucial.
