Hey everyone, I’ve been following the search for John Freday and wanted to bring up something that's been bothering me since he vanished. I remember reading a few comments between July and August 2021 about how John had planned to go hiking around Skagit County, which led me to wonder about the safety of the trails in that area. I've done some hikes there myself, and while they’re beautiful, certain parts can be pretty remote and tricky if you're not familiar with them. Does anyone know if any search groups have focused on these hiking trails, or if his friends mentioned any specific spots he wanted to explore? Given how vast and rugged the area is, it seems like a place where someone could unintentionally get lost. Just throwing this out there as a possibility and hoping someone might have more insights.
Has anyone else looked into the bar where John Freday was last seen in Concrete? I was reading about his case, and it seems strange that no one has come forward with any information. You’d think someone might have noticed something, even if it was just a small detail. Concrete isn't that big of a town. Were there any events happening on the 4th of July there that could have drawn a crowd? Maybe someone who wasn’t local saw something off? It’s puzzling how little information has surfaced, given the timing and holiday. If anyone knows locals from the area, maybe spread the word and keep the discussions going. Every bit can make a difference!
