I’ve been following the tragic case of Wayne Orsin and Rashada Richardson closely, and like many of you, I'm trying to wrap my head around the senselessness of it all. While the arrests of Fairley and Tillman bring a measure of progress, I can't stop thinking about what this means for the families left behind. Wayne had just turned a corner in his life, proud of his achievements—his family must be devastated. I came across their fundraising campaign and it hit me so hard. It's such a stark reminder of the human stories behind the headlines. Can we talk about how the community could rally more support for victims' families? Sometimes it feels like we're just watching these tragedies unfold, but there has to be more we can do to help those directly impacted. Whether sharing campaigns or advocating for more community resources, every little bit can help, right? These families should never feel alone in navigating their grief and the heavy financial burdens. Also, if anyone has other ways to help out or knows of local groups doing good work that need more visibility, please share. Let's try to support them any way we can.
