Pamela Dianne Duffey, a 21-year-old Caucasian woman, was found deceased in a shallow grave in the Mojave Desert near Ludlow, California, in November 1980. Her remains were discovered alongside those of William Everette Lane, a 20-year-old male. Both victims had suffered gunshot wounds and blunt force trauma, and their bodies were unclothed.
