Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about Derek Lee’s murder, and I keep circling back to the area where it happened. The 1100 block of North 36th Street isn’t exactly unknown to locals—some folks have mentioned it being a bit of a hotspot for trouble. I wonder if this could mean the shooter might have had some foothold or familiarity with the area. Has anyone else considered this or have any insight into what the neighborhood dynamics looked like around that time? A lot of us are hoping that the community rallying together can help crack this case, especially since it’s so hard on Derek’s loved ones who deserve answers. If we piece together what we know and what’s been shared in forums like these, maybe we can help nudge things along and hopefully bring some closure soon. What do you guys think?
